An environmental impact assessment for Nawi Island will be presented to the public in Savusavu next week.
The EIA regards a temporary access road for the island retreat, located on the Savusavu Bay, opposite the town’s CBD.
A notice from Marina Consulting and Research said the public meeting is being held to inform interested parties about the development and provide a forum for discussion, comments or queries.
Records of the meeting, which is scheduled for October 12 at the Planter’s Club, will be included in an EIA report that will be submitted to the Department of Environment for consideration.
Nawi Island’s proposed developments cover a selection of private beachfront & ocean-view homes and an exclusive, luxury resort and marina.
With Freehold ownership, it boasts to provide panoramic views of Savusavu’s harbour within the security of an exclusive island community.
The Nawi Island Marina aims to be a world-class yachting destination with 144 slips, a luxury spa, yacht club, dry dock and haul-out facilities.
There are close to 30 home sites being offered at Nawi Island.
