REAL estate business in Fiji continues to grow day by day and it hasn't been the same for the past 10 years, says Inglewood Realtors director Praneel Dass, who restarted his real estate business in Fiji after returning from New Zealand.
Mr Dass's business, Inglewood Realtors is no stranger to the local real estate market. It has been one of the successful real estate businesses to have been established in the West in 2007.
Mr Dass said real estate was not only about selling houses, but was about doing investment at the right time with the right prices.
"Most of our clients have bought more than two properties from one of their property equity," Mr Dass said.
"The real estate business is growing in the right direction and even since 2000, the prices of property has never been reduced or the market to crash like it's happened overseas."
He said real estate was quite challenging now with so many companies operating locally.
He said a lot of things needed to be implemented in order for the industry to fully develop.
"A lot of things need to be implemented, take for instance now I'm making things more easier for people to buy their dream home and get their loan sorted at no time," he said.
"We are in the process of working together with banks and some hi-tech web and app technology for better service delivery to our clients."
He said it's important in real estate to get property growth and to continue investing more on equity or to sell it at a higher price and to purchase different properties because there was always growth in real estate.
"We are back in business and this time it's bigger and better than before. Next plan for us is to establish our agents in each city and town in Fiji so we can provide the right service to the nation," he said.
"People can expect great and professional service from us and our agents are working and are always available at customers' convenience, whether it's during the day or at night.
"People can expect the best range of properties at reduced prices and lots of new subdivisions have been in co-operation with the Inglewood team.
"We have got our head office in Nadi, but we have agents based in Lautoka, Suva and Labasa. We are in process of opening our sales office in Lautoka and Suva by May this year. We are also hiring more graduates as our professional agents."
He said when he started his real estate business in Fiji back in 2007, he was looking to buy a property for himself.
"I did not find a professional real estate business at the time that would fulfil my requirements. While travelling overseas, I admired the concepts of real estate there and so I thought 'why don't I give the same service back here'," he said.
Now he continues with his real estate business in Fiji offering one of the best real estate services in the country.
