Sigatoka lays along the banks of Fiji’s longest river and marks the starting point of the holiday stretch that is the Coral Coast. Residential areas in this town are scattered over varying terrains on the riverside, oceanfront and even with frontage of the Sigatoka sand dunes, a national heritage site that also wraps the mouth of the Sigatoka River, giving residents and visitors a unique vista. Neighbourhoods that border the dunes include Kulukulu, where homes list for as low as $120,000, while retaining proximity to the popular surfing breaks of the dune’s waterfront. The Sigatoka CBD has few residential neighbourhoods that are mostly centred around Mission Rd, which has frontage of the St Joan of Arc Church and school. Above it is the imposing Shri Radha Krishna Temple, a landmark nestled on a hill overlooking the CBD and Sigatoka River. This hill is also home to several large homes and the highest peak in town.

Olosara is located on the other side of the Sigatoka River, across from the CBD, and features a large host of concrete houses fringing the Queens Highway and along the waterfront that borders the tourist hub of Korotogo. Some Olosara listings generously go for around $200,000 for a three-bedroom house, with walking distance to primary and secondary schools and stores.

The leafy vicinity of Korotoga also sits on beautiful waterfront and home to a mix of houses, small boutique hotels and businesses and cafes that end at the 5-star Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort. The beach along Korotogo Rd is open to the public and popular with visitors, while houses on the hills neighbouring the Outrigger are generally expansive high-end properties compared to others in Sigatoka, with generous listings in this area selling for $400,000 and larger abodes settling at around $850,000.
