Supermarket chain, RB Patel Group Limited is digging into a new residential development in Suva.
A subsidiary of Fijian Holdings Ltd, the group recorded an exceptional financial year with revenue increasing by 9.5 percent to almost $118 million.
Construction works have commenced at the company’s residential property in the capital, with the complex expected to be completed by early next year.
The Board is also considering further developments of RB Patel’s Harbour Point property in Lami, and is on the hunt for new store sites, as a bid to add value to its shareholders.
Residential developments are also underway for the region’s largest university, which is adding to its accommodation block through a 400-bed student hall.
The University of the South Pacific plans to add a 12th hall to its accommodation block on its main campus at Laucala Bay, Suva.
It has called on suitably qualified and experienced consultancy firms for the ITB preparation and project management of the hall.
The tender closes early next month, with bids to be publicly open on the same day, October 6, at USP’s Finance Conference Room.
